Hope's work features in this years Designers and Makers Fair at The Turner Contemporary. Her classes are always popular and this is a great opportunity to learn from her.
You will learn beginning bookbinding techniques. The importance of paper grain and how to fold, sew, and cover your books to create useful and beautiful books using basic tools. All materials, including paper, board, various decorative papers, bookcloth, linen thread and adhesive to make your own uniquely designed books are included. Tools are provided for use on the day.
Classes are taught through practical demonstrations and supported hands on work. Image is to demonstrate the style of book only. Papers and materials will vary.
Class runs from 10 til 4.
